In addition to the tips you mentioned, I recommend finding a narrative, during your interview process, that you can weave through your straight exposition to pull the reader through. This is especially important for feature-length articles. Also, no matter how carefully you researched your topic, have a qualified subject matter expert fact check your copy before publishing on owned media or distributing the news release.]]></description>
