First and foremost, congrats grad! We know it wasn’t an easy road to get here. We also know that you are about to embark on a life-changing journey, with a completely new set of challenges to navigate.

College does a remarkable job helping young adults map out a rough blueprint for their futures. But, what it often doesn’t do is provide practical guidance for how to navigate that future. What do you do on that first day at your new office? How do you address your coworkers? What is proper Zoom etiquette?

The Buchanan Public Relations staff agreed that we were never adequately prepared for this new journey in the real world. We wanted to do something to change that.

So, we interviewed a number of recent graduates, as well as seasoned professionals, and asked them what they wish they were taught in college, but were not.
