Lauren Force Gives Social Media Optimization Presentation to Aspiring Entrepreneurs at Women’s Business Development Center

PHILADELPHIA (October 19, 2018)Lauren Force, assistant account executive at Buchanan Public Relations LLC, a full-service public relations, digital, and crisis communications agency, led a presentation on social media to a class of aspiring women business owners at the Woman’s Business Development Center(WBDC) on Thursday.

The FastTrac class, a 10-week start-up business plan course offered through WBDC, provides workshops and strategic planning sessions for aspiring entrepreneurs. Force was a guest presenter at this week’s session, and discussed best practices for communicating effectively on social media – utilizing examples from both organic and paid campaigns.

“The digital landscape today is cluttered with noise, and to cut through it, your content must be captivating, engaging and offer value to your audience,” said Force. “Before publishing to any social media platform, you need to define your brand’s goals and objectives, target audience, unique voice and content strategy.”

The Women’s Business Development Center is the first gender-focused small business development center in the Mid-Atlantic region.
