Favorite Part of Working in Public Relations: Writing is, without a doubt, my favorite part of working in PR. I’ve been an avid writer ever since getting my first diary when I was eight years old. Now, I use my passion to help our clients own and tell their stories in a meaningful way.
Tip for Other Public Relations Professionals: Don’t be afraid to take risks. Whether it’s learning a new skill or working with a client in an industry you’re unfamiliar with, stepping outside of your comfort zone will only help you grow as a professional.
Most Memorable Moment at Buchanan PR: Handling media relations at two events in Texas for our client, Bimbo Bakeries USA. Not only did I have the opportunity to visit the state for the first time and learn about a completely new media market first-hand, I was also able to meet our PRGN affiliate in Dallas, Three Box Strategic Communications!
Pet Peeve: When people don’t use their turn signals while driving. They were created for a reason!
Guilty Pleasure: Cheese and cookies (eaten separately, of course.)
Favorite After Work Activity: Philadelphia has an amazing food scene, so I love trying the different restaurants, markets and food trucks throughout the city.
